Qnami is attending for the first time the HOWDI annual meeting held in Dourdan, France, on May 9-13. The HOWDI national research group (and international research network) has the mission to bring together and foster interactions among researchers in the field of van der Waals heterostructures.
For the first time in its history, HOWDI will include a full session about magnetism in van der Waals heterostructures. Results unlocked by Scanning NV Magnetometry will be showcased in two scientific contributions of the session.
If you are attending the HOWDI annual meeting, check out how to meet us:
Scientific presentations
Session: Magnetism
Title: Qnami ProteusQ: A commercial solution unlocking magnetic field measurments in 2D materials
Speaker: Dr. Peter Rickhaus, Application Scientist at Qnami
Date and Time: Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at 10:40
During his talk our Application Scientist Peter will provide an overview of the top-notch results in material systems such as CrBr3 and CrTe2 obtained using by our Qnami ProteusQ series and quantum sensors Qnami Quantilevers.

Session: Magnetism
Title: Scanning Nitrogen-Vacancy Magnetometry of van der Waals Magnets
Speaker: Märta Tschudin, PhD student at University of Basel
Date and Time: Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at 11:00
In her talk, Märta will show results on chromium triiodide. Her work shed light on the correlation between structural order and magnetization of such van der Waals magnet.
