What a way to close out 2020! Qnami has been selected as a finalist for the 2021 Prism Awards in the category of Quantum for our recently launched Qnami ProteusQ Scanning NV Microscope.
The Prism Awards is an annual international competition that honors the best new optics and photonics products on the market. Since 2008, SPIE, along with media partner Photonics Media, has presented awards to companies and individuals that are creating products that make a difference, solve problems, and improve life through photonics.
Qnami would also like to congratulate the other companies selected as Finalists in the Quantum Category, AUREA Technology, and one of our critical business partners, Element Six.
Qnami ProteusQ is a complete quantum microscope system. It is the first scanning NV (nitrogen-vacancy) microscope for the analysis of magnetic materials at the atomic scale. The Qnami ProteusQ system comes with state-of-the-art electronics and software. Its flexible design allows for future adjustments and scaling, expansion and capability upgrades. The proprietary Qnami ProteusQ quantum technology provides high precision images for you to see directly the most subtle properties of your samples and the effect of microscopic changes in your design or fabrication process. See examples of analysis conducted with the Qnami ProteusQ in our gallery of Applications. Qnami ProteusQ is distributed by our exclusive partner, Horiba Scientific.
About Qnami: Qnami is a VC-backed high-tech company with its roots at the Physics Department of the University of Basel in Switzerland. It develops fundamental new technology using quantum mechanics. The control of the state of a single electron enables measurement with a precision that could never be achieved before. The technique is called quantum sensing and Qnami is enthusiastically developing it to improve people’s lives and the world. Extensive academic research and deep knowledge build the ground for all that Qnami does. With this technology, Qnami is redefining the common understanding of precision. Qnami offers an open team culture of mutual respect and intercultural understanding which is both business and scientific minded.
