Dr. Hai Zhong with Dr. Xavier Vidal in the lab installing the new ProteusQ

We Just Delivered a Qnami ProteusQ to the Fraunhofer Institute in Freiburg!

Last week, our team installed a new Qnami ProteusQ Scanning NV Magnetometer at a second customer site, the Fraunhofer Institute in Freiburg, Germany (Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Solid State Physics)!

Wearing masks and keeping social distance to adhere to COVID-19 regulations didn’t get in the way of a smooth installation for Hai Zhong, Qnami’s Application Scientist.

Even a COVID-19 protection mask could not hide the big smile from our customer, Dr. Xavier Vidal.

Qnami is delighted to count IAF among the first customers for the Qnami ProteusQ.  We look forward to a strong collaboration in the years to come.

The Qnami ProteusQ is a complete quantum microscope system. It is the first scanning NV (nitrogen-vacancy) microscope for the analysis of magnetic materials at the atomic scale. The Qnami ProteusQ system comes with state-of-the-art electronics and software. Its flexible design allows for future adjustments and scaling, expansion and capability upgrades. The proprietary Qnami ProteusQ quantum technology provides high precision images for you to see directly the most subtle properties of your samples and the effect of microscopic changes in your design or fabrication process.
