Qnami to Present Scientific Results using ProteusQ at Quantum2020 and MMM Conferences

Qnami Application Scientist Hai Zhong will present the results of scientific research on antiferromagnetic materials conducted using the Qnami ProteusQ at the Quantum2020 and MMM virtual conferences.

Quantum2020: Dr. Zhong’s presentation (talk ID 30888) at Quantum2020 is scheduled for 16:00-17:00 CEST on 19 October. A recording of the session will be available on the conference website following shortly thereafter. Qnami will also present a virtual demonstration of the Qnami ProteusQ at 12:00-12:30 UK time (19:00-19:30 CST) on 19 October as a sponsored talk.

2020 Magnetism and Magnetic Materials Virtual Conference: Dr. Zhong’s presentation (Talk ID: L1-09) at MMM is scheduled for 13:30-14:00 CEST on November 4. We also encourage you to participate the Qnami-sponsored Symposium tilted ‘Antiferromagnetic spintronics’ at the MMM2020 conference, which is scheduled to begin at 15:00 CEST on November 4.

Qnami is pleased to be a sponsor for both the Quantum2020 and MMM conferences this year. We are experimenting with virtual booths at both conferences, and we encourage anyone interested in scanning NV magnetometry, our Qnami ProteusQ Microscope, or our QuantileverMX probes to visit us virtually in our booths.

Qnami recently launched the Qnami ProteusQ, a complete quantum microscope system that leverages the Qnami QuantileverMX quantum sensor. The Qnami ProteusQ is the first scanning NV (nitrogen-vacancy) microscope for the analysis of magnetic materials at the atomic scale. It is available exclusively through Qnami’s distributor, Horiba.

About Qnami: Qnami is a VC-backed high-tech company with its roots at the Physics Department of the University of Basel in Switzerland. It develops fundamental new technology using quantum mechanics. The control of the state of a single electron enables measurement with a precision that could never be achieved before. The technique is called quantum sensing and Qnami is enthusiastically developing it to improve people’s lives and the world. Extensive academic research and deep knowledge build the ground for all that Qnami does. With this technology, Qnami is redefining the common understanding of precision. Qnami offers an open team culture of mutual respect and intercultural understanding which is both business and scientific minded. Qnami attracts young, multicultural, open and skilled team members, who have a deep passion for the work. www.qnami.ch
