This week the #quantumwave visited Japan for the first time. And it was a great! ではまたね Japan!
Our CEO and Co-Founder, Mathieu Munsch, and our Sales Manager, Benjamin Holmes, had the great opportunity to meet key opinion leaders in the fields of nanomagnetism and sptronics from Japan. Mathieu and Ben enjoyed visiting their laboratories and learning about their top-notch research.
“It was exciting to meet key NV researchers from the land of the rising sun. We look forward to building on the relationships we initiated, and developing the use of NV magnetometry together in Japan.”
Benjaming Holmes, Sales Manager
This week, the 14th International Symposium on Atomic Level Characterization for New Materials and Devices ’22 (ALC 22) was held in Okinawa. The ALC symposium focuses on practical applications of atomic-level characterization of novel materials and devices. It brings together companies and academics to raise awareness on novel applications and techniques. The ALC community fosters discussions between experts from different fields. The aim is to solve fundamental problems through the further development of methods for atomic-level material characterization. Mathieu was very pleased to be invited as a speaker.
“I would like to thank the organizers of the ALC 22 conference for such a great opportunity. We were happy to connect with the ALC scientists who form a strong and friendly community.”
Mathieu Munsch, CEO and Co-Founder
During the Quantum Metrology and Sensing session, Mathieu gave a talk featuring the latest scientific breakthroughs enabled by Scanning NV Magnetometry in magnetic memory devices, and spintronics candidates such as multiferroics.
