The first ProteusQ was successfully delivered in the lab of Prof. Maletinsky, making him Qnami’s first beta-tester!
The instrument will support Maletinsky’s research on advanced magnetic materials. Dr Kai Wagner, post-doc in his group and specialist of magnonics, will in particular use the ProteusQ to investigate the properties of spin waves. This emergent field of research aims to create computer logic minimizing heat dissipation.
